Board Meeting Minutes November 12, 2024
New Beach Association, Inc. (Woodland Beach)

Linda Gagne called the meeting to order at 6p.m.

Present was President Linda Gagne, Vice-President Dan Achauer, Treasurer Bev Betts and Secretary Pam Maser.  Also Present was Al Metdepenningen and David Jewel. 

Approval of the minutes from September 24, 2024.  Bev made a motion to accept and Linda seconded.  All approved and the motion carried.  

Approval of the financial statements from September and October 2024.  Bev made a motion to accept and Pam seconded.  All Approved and the motion carried. 

New Business

Al has installed a new baby swing.

Linda has called Davy Tree Service about planting five trees in the spring. They will do all the planting and the trees have a one year warranty.  The cost is $30000.00.  Linda is also going to check on prices at other nurseries. 

Linda has gotten a quote from the company that we purchased the slide from and the price to replace the slide was $17,000.00. Bev found a resident who does fiberglass repair and he said he would do it for the cost of materials.   

Linda has notified the Resort Authority about our tree stumps and dangerous branches. She has not yet heard back from them.  She will call again next week. 

Zane has sprayed the garage for bees and will do the caulking on the cracks at the garage.

Al thinks that the picnic tables at the park can be repaired. 

Some kids were at the beach and had a fire and burned a tree and section of the wall.  Al is going to look at the tree and see if it can be taken down.

 Linda has turned in a couple of houses for blight. 

Linda has asked about purchasing a ball for the tetherball pole.  She will purchase one in the spring.

Linda asked about purchasing two gift cards $100.00 each for Tom King and David Jewel.  Linda made a motion to accept and Pam seconded. All approved and the motion carried.   

Linda asked about not having any meetings until next year. Pam made a motion to accept and Bev seconded. All approved and the motion carried.. The next meeting will be in March 2025. 

Linda made a motion to adjourn and Bev seconded. All approved and the meeting adjourned at 6:42 p.m.
