Board Meeting Minutes
Board Meeting Minutes September 24, 2024
Linda Gagne
called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m.
Present was
President Linda Gagne, Vice-President Dan Achauer, Treasurer Bev
Betts and Secretary Pam Maser. Bobby Carter was excused.
Approval of
the minutes from August 14, 2024. Bev made a motion to accept
and Pam seconded. All approved and the motion carried.
Approval of
the financial statement from August 2024. Pam made a motion to
accept and Bev seconded. All approved and the motion carried.
Approval of
the minutes from the September 14, 2024 Annual Meeting. Maryanne
Loop asked about two people who were there as they live on Lakeshore
Dr. They both have lots in the beach. A miscount was found in the
voting of the open position. There were 71 votes given out and Frank
Burlew had 21 and Pam Maser got 47. They add up to 68 votes. Three
votes were not cast. Pam made a motion to accept and Bev seconded. All approved with the changes and the motion carried.
New Business
The election
of officers. Bev made a motion to have everyone keep their same
position. Dan Achauer and Bobby Carter called in and also
agreed. Pam seconded and the motion carried.
Linda has
contacted the Davy Tree Service to ask about planting five trees in
the spring. Bev made a motion to accept and Pam seconded and the
motion carried.
Linda has
called the company where we bought the slide. She is waiting for
them to call back. Also the tops of the permanent picnic
tables need to be repaired.
Linda asked
for approval to buy a new baby swing. Linda made a motion and Bev
seconded and the motion carried.
The warning
flags for the beach was discussed and decided to table it until next
spring.
The area of
the garage needs to be point tucked. Also bees are in the open
spaces and Linda is going to call an exterminator. Linda made a
motion to call and Pam seconded. All approved and the motion
carried.
Linda had the
original map on all the streets. There is no changes on the names of
the streets.
Old Business Due to numerous complaints, there will not be an organized Trunk or Treat at the ball diamond this year. Our residents are welcomed to do whatever they choose for Halloween.
Al has
changed the sign on Lakeshore Dr. It is Lawndale St.
David Jewel
attended the meeting. He is the new blight person. He has already
turned in two blights and has two more grass heights.
Open Discussion
Linda has
contacted the Resort Authority to remove the tree stumps. They
have been approved for more money to do it. We also have to
have a list of the trees that need trimming.
Linda has
been asked about the lot voting. It is in the articles of
corporation that each lot gets a vote. That is how it has always
been.
Pam made a
motion to adjourn and Linda seconded. All approved and the meeting
adjourned at 6:41
